Eco-brutalist office

A small project to familiarise myself with BIM software.  I was inspired by eco-brutalism in japan especially from architects such as Kenzo Tange and Tadao Ando.

 

This project allowed me  to explore different ways the form of a building could be created to allow natural elements to into the building such as via light shafts. I also learned about how using more grounded and natural materials in a modern setting, such as an office, can create positive working experiences.

 

This project overall has helped me understand how materials interact with one another as well as how forms can be manipulated to allow views and natural lighting.
